Colocation

Your server, hosted in our Lahore infrastructure environment.

You keep ownership of the hardware. How2Host provides the agreed rack space, metered power, connectivity and a defined remote-hands scope.

Rack placement

1U and 2U customer-owned servers can be evaluated for the current Lahore environment.

01
Connectivity

Bandwidth and public IPv4 requirements are agreed before installation; IPv4 remains subject to upstream verification and approval.

02
Remote hands

Basic physical tasks can be handled within the agreed allowance, with complex project work scoped separately.

03
Power

Metered consumption with automatic backup transition.

Customer equipment is billed from measured kWh consumption under the commercial agreement. The environment uses automatic UPS transition for short utility interruptions, with building backup generation available for longer interruptions. Backup power is intended to keep the server environment, network equipment and cooling operating.

Remote hands

Common physical tasks do not require you to travel to Lahore.

Typical remote-hands work includes reboot or power-cycle actions, cable checks or reseating, console and out-of-band checks, hardware-status verification, and straightforward RAM or disk installation. Provider-caused incident remediation is treated separately from routine customer-requested remote hands where the signed SLA provides that distinction.

Onboarding

We document the machine before installation.

  • Chassis model and 1U/2U requirement
  • Serial numbers and condition photographs
  • Expected power draw and PSU configuration
  • Network bandwidth and public IPv4 requirement
  • Out-of-band management capability
  • Storage, memory and replaceable component details

The environment is privately managed and is not represented as a Tier-certified commercial datacenter. Site access is restricted and any inspection is subject to prior approval, privacy and operational requirements.
