Acceptable Use Policy
Effective 6 September 2026. This policy protects customers, upstream networks and third parties from unlawful, abusive or technically harmful use of How2Host infrastructure.
Services may not be used to facilitate unlawful activity.
You may not use the service to store, transmit, publish or facilitate material or conduct that is unlawful under applicable law, or to knowingly assist another person in doing so.
Do not attack, deceive or disrupt other systems.
Prohibited activity includes unauthorized access, credential theft, phishing, malware distribution, botnets, command-and-control activity, deliberate denial-of-service attacks, packet or source-address spoofing, unauthorized interception, scanning intended to compromise third parties, spam and deliberate disruption of networks or services.
Testing requires authorization.
Scanning, penetration testing, vulnerability research and load testing are permitted only against systems you own or are explicitly authorized to test. Testing that creates material risk to shared infrastructure, upstream networks or unrelated customers may be rate-limited or stopped.
Technical resources must be used as allocated.
You may not announce, route, assign, resell or use IP resources contrary to the applicable order or upstream requirements. Attempts to bypass bandwidth, power, authentication, filtering or allocation controls are prohibited.
Respect intellectual property and legal rights.
Customers are responsible for content and software they deploy. Credible notices concerning infringement, fraud or other third-party rights may be reviewed and forwarded to the customer where appropriate.
The response is proportionate to urgency and risk.
How2Host may request remediation, filter traffic, isolate a service, suspend access or terminate service when reasonably necessary. For urgent security, abuse or legal risk, protective action may occur before notice. Where practical, we will provide enough information for the customer to investigate and remediate.
Send evidence, timestamps and the affected address.
Report abuse to hello@how2.host. Include relevant IP addresses, timestamps with timezone, logs or headers and a concise description. Do not send unrelated personal data.
